Mounting the TUG’s Pier 1, Jan 20, 2011

Nicely Lit Shot of Our Office

Not bad.

Nice attendance. I would like to think that we all flocked to Pier 1 to see and be with Jun Salgado and Art Cantiller and not to pick up the homecoming t’shirts. Sadly the two will not be around to join us on 5 February. They will however propagate the Spirit of TUGetherness of 76 in their respective stations over at the other side of the Pacific blazoning.

Nick Tolentino, Pepper Nakpil, Joel Estrada, Jun Salgado, Dr. Junet Lago, Joey Lapena, Alan Isaac, Tito Fernandez, Butch Prieto, Luke Esteban, Noel Silvestre, Tonichi Caballero, Art Cantiller, Darryl Duarte, George Dolendo, Manny Aniceto, Timmy Lee, Johnny Liao, Agu Estrada, Art Manuel. Jed Tiongson, Butch Alicante. I may be missing someone else. Our friend Freddie Placino, also of LS (Lourdes School), was there.

Gado and Art: nice of you guys to be around every so often here in PHL. We always look forward to seeing our batchmates make their way here thus according us the reason to mount sans t’shirts.

And then they were more. The collective attendance of 4C and 4D rose by around 500% in the number of warm bodies present rather than in sheer body mass weighed in.

Alas, there were those who confirmed last night but were conspicuously around only in words without form and substance, at least not within the visible horizon that we could view as we were like perched on crow’s nest on the third floor. I hasten to surmise that though well-meaning and intentioned, their destination were somehow waylaid.

I shall leave the finer details to senor tonichi who claims to be suffering from writer’s block and temporary insanity as a way to belate his opus.
