We finally found an excuse, or three, for another one of these gatherings.

This time we celebrated Bong J’s unburdening, Romi B’s safe journey home, and Luke E’s non-attendance (hrrrumph!). Good thing I brought a camera along or we wouldn’t have been able to capture any images of the event. Speaking of images, isn’t Johnny L. a spitting-image of Andal, Jr.? All in jest, folks. No need to fire up the backhoes!
If that sounded cryptic, it was meant to be! One of our Ed’s suggested that divulging too much personal info may be a bad idea.
Actually, I had just gotten together with Romi at a dinner held for him two days earlier. So it’s not like he didn’t have his plate full, quite literally, this visit to Manila.
Since the top brass were there, the session was also something of a very laid-back board meeting. Bong J., Agu E., Tonichi C., Johnny L., Dondi C., Hoton E., and Timmy L. all put in their two-cents’ worth, and their share of the bill also.
Apart from that, we just ate, drank, and trash-talked those who did not attend. Then like clockwork, we all left at midnight to avoid turning into pumpkins! je je je
Here’s hoping we can continue this quarterly tradition. It’s worthwhile, if only to give Johnny the opportunity to build-up funds for our less fortunate bros.
