For fear of smelling last nites alcohol

Last nights “miting de avance” …. What am I talking about, it was just a batch gathering with a relatively small attendance no thanks in part to the lousy weather that conveniently choose to let loose while I walked the short distance from the parking lot. (more…)

5th Sunday Mass

Monday, May 31st, 2010 02:52 pm PHT

Fittingly, this Sunday’s sermon delivered by Father Dennis talked about unity! I could not help but comment we chose the right day to close ranks and say a prayer for our sick, recovering, and departed friends and relatives. We are united in our desires for the best for our kin and each other!

Toronto Chapter 3

Sunday, March 14th, 2010 11:09 am PHT

Looks like we had a kabatch visit Toronto last friday, March 12, 2010 … it was Bambi Veron Dulay. Nanding Posadas was our host and Eddie Boy and I were invited.  Funny thing by the time Ed and I arrived Bam was already flying. Nanding and Bam had been drinking brandy. They started at noon and had already down more than half of the bottle. Judging from the condition of Nanding it looks like Bam was doing most of the drinking.  LOL… (more…)

Sunday, December 13th, 2009 11:09 pm PHT

Although only 8 or 9 signed up on the “headcount email” passed around at the Yahoo e-group, 26 classmates from La Salle High School Class of 1976 (LSGH ’76) and De La Salle Grade School Class of 1972 (Taft DSLGS ’72) showed up for Christmas party/fund-raising event.

By the time I got to Joey Pepperoni at the Fairways Tower last Friday, it was past 7:30 pm. Don’t ask… long story; long walk. Our host Butch Prieto, Tonichi Caballero (a.k.a. Tonichiwa), Johnny Liao, Tito Yuchengco, Darryl Duarte, Joey Regala, Allan Isaac and Agu Estrada were already assaulting the San Mig Lights. Tonichi, our event photog, will upload the pics as soon as possible. (more…)
